What kind of riding positions are there? Based from the pic of the Ghost you bought it looks very comfortable.
There are basically 4 riding positions (like most drop bars). The flats (near the stem), the corners (where bars curve forward), the hoods (top of the brake levers) and the drops.
Because of the tall stack on this bike the bars are higher than on a CX or road bike so it'll be more comfortable for an old guy with arthritis.

I'm aiming to do some work on this electric bike, because the peddles are too stiff and make it more difficult to ride without the electric motor engaged. (Ideally, I want to get the same ride out of this type of bike on peddle power alone as I would with a normal bike).
My past experience was that the bike gets enough juice for a ride to the department store and back on electric engine power alone, but then again this is my first e-bike purchase, so I've got a good deal to learn. And I'm not likely to buy another one anytime soon if I run into too many difficulties with this one - I'll probably just shill out several $100 for a used moped instead.
I've have Microshift trigger shifters on several of the family's bikes. Was hard to find Shimano stuff during the shutdown. I like it. It's more heavy handed than Shimano or SRAM. Feels industrial. This is my first try at one of their derailleurs and brifters.
