What brands do you have repeated in your pile?

Post by Bloodhound »

I was going thru my pipes pile and noted that there are some brands represented several times, while some brands just had one pipe represented.

I know that some of the ones where there is only one, most of the time is because they are from custom makes and I could only afford one example :)

So this thread is about the ones that I have multiples of the same brand.

Comoy - 5 pipes
Stanwell - 4 pipes
Savinelli - 3 pipes
Peterson - 2 pipes

Thats it...the rest are lone examples of brands or makers I didn't se out to collect that way, its just how it has worked out...But I do find that when I am searching the auction site, I tend to look for Comoy first, as that is a lot of times where I can find bargains...for instance, the last Comoy I bought, I paid $5 + $2 shipping, and with some elbow grease it turned into a beauty, one that I smoke often.

6 pack of Teipens here and a handful of Kings. A few Turner's. Some BabyMods. Couple to a few Madsens (did I spell that correctly?)

Oh look! There is still room in the cabinet for a Ropp section.

:pipe:

Where are the pipe smilies?

I've ended up with, and have had good luck with, older Ben Wade pipes. I have a couple of Comoys, and several KWs as well, all of them zulu shapes.

At first I thought this thread was regarding tobacco brands. My stash at one time was nearly all McClelland. Now it seems to be mostly C&D, along with some old tins of McC that I've saved.

I haven't been smoking this week, so I decided to rotate the pipes a bit and realized that I forgot the other faction/segment...I have 4 Iwan Ries pipes I am pretty sure one is a Comoy and the other 3 are Savanelli but they are all stamped Iwan Ries & Co
