Thought power, thought dynamics, thought culture what does it all mean? The power of suggestion can heal or change the course of a life. What power is this? How does it work and can we tap into it? Can we use it for our own good and the good of others? Thought is the most mysterious force in the universe.

Everything begins with thought power. The dynamic power of thought is realized when one reduces every known thing in the human world to its origin. The origin of everything is in thought. The thought of man-kind. Nothing exists that didn't begin in the imagination, in the mind of somebody.

So it is clear then that thought is a creative force, great and wonderful things can be wrought through the power of thought. Terrible things can also be done through the power of thought. Your health, your strength of mind, the success you achieve in life, your social life all have their origin in the nature of your thoughts. Are your thoughts happy, healthy, optimistic, generous? If they are, your life will reflect these qualities. On the other hand, if your thoughts are dominated by pessimism, negativity, sadness, gloom and doom your life - your reality will reflect those qualities.

Others can interfere with our thoughts and our lives but only in the degree that we let them. Positive and negative thoughts that come from outside ourselves only have an effect when we give them permission to live inside us.

Wisdom and thought power

Ancient wisdom literature states: "..as a man thinks in his heart, so he is". Earl Nightingale spoke of the 'strangest secret' which is simply that what we think about, we become. This puts tremendous responsibility on the individual because there can be no blaming, no self pity, no finger pointing. The world you live in and what you experience in life is largely the result of choices you have made based on what you think. It is easy enough to shrug off this responsibility but the truth is that unless you change the way you think - you will not change.

Thoughts have power; thoughts are energy. And you can make your world or break it by your own thinking.

The aim then, is to control our thoughts so that our actions are of a nature that take us to the places we dream of. The benefit of harnessing thought power is that when we do, mental pain can be washed away. Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders will all disappear. The benefit of thought power is success however you define success.

Ok, so you've got the message - what you think determines your reality. So now what? What do you do next? The answer is to change your mind, of course. But how exactly do you do that? There are hundreds of thousands of blogs and pages that will tell you what you need to do, but very few that will tell you how. And without the 'how' the 'what' becomes worthless. What is the point of someone giving you the keys to a Rolls Royce if you don't know how to drive? Your mind is the most valuable thing you own and knowing how to manage it might be worth millions to you. Or perhaps you simply want to enjoy a simple and quiet life free of addictions, or mental disturbances.

It can be done. And it can be done fairly quickly. The way to change your mind is to use the same strategy that created it to begin with. During childhood significant people in your life had a tremendous impact on who you have become. They told you who you were. They spoke words that you accepted as truth and you absorbed those statements into your mental tool chest. Sometimes the opinions of others made you draw certain conclusions about life and how to live it. Those thoughts have long since become habits.

The way to change your mind, to change your life is to change those thought habits. Thought power can be harness and used by reprogramming your mind with new thought habits. And just like you learned when you were a child you can relearn as an adult. The statements you absorbed as a child are called affirmations. Affirmations are statements of truth that you focus on repeatedly. You can recite them to yourself, read them or listen to them. The key is repetition.

Thought power is harnessed with affirmations and entrainment. Entrainment is a phenomenon that scientists discovered that can be used to program your mind in record time. Why waste another second of your life with unproductive and ineffective thought habits?
